Hi, my name is Chris Guebert and I’m the co-author of 50 Gluten & Sugar Free Recipes.
Let me tell you why I wrote this book. It’s real simple, actually. I noticed that when I ate gluten, I felt terrible. My chest got congested and my digestion tanked. I felt terrible with very low energy. When I saw my doctor, he diagnosed me as “Gluten Sensitive.” I now had to change my diet in a big way – as well as how I cooked my meals.
So, I started looking at Gluten Free products. I found a few, but they were so full of sugar that I got nowhere with their recipes. Sugar isn’t good for your body. It ages you faster than anything – and so I wanted to be off not only gluten but sugar, too. I didn’t want to exchange “one evil for another.” Some of the other recipes I found were also high in carbohydrates. Being I want my body to burn fat, if I’m eating high-carb recipes, that’s not going to happen.
So guess what the solution to my dilemma was? It was to CREATE my own recipes and put them into a book that I kept in my kitchen. And that’s precisely what you’re going to be reading when you have my book in your hands. As you and I prepare for our next meal, we’ll literally be on the same page. Or, at bare minimum, reading from the same book.
All my recipes are much more than gluten and sugar-free, though. They are absolutely DELICIOUS.
